The day after Mardi Gras!

Reese's was still pooped from the party the night before.

Some people who stayed at the hotel had a lot of fun. Some how this beer ended up in the bottom of the pool.

The day before the elevators were a little scary but now that someone smashed it all up inside it was even scarier. Ha!

The hotel had a lovely breakfast for us. This is a make your own waffle machine.

Our room was on the third floor with a pool view.

Everyone said we have to get beignets from the Cafe' Du Monde so we found it just down the road from the hotel. We were surprised it had  a drive through. Turns out there are two restaurants.Maybe a chain will come to Florida soon. We ordered hot chocolate and the beignets.

After seeing what was inside we decided we had better pull over and eat them outside of the car.

We woke up bright and bushy tailed! And ready to see that baby in Oklahoma get born. But before we did we couldn't resist going to the French Quarter for a look around. So after breakfast we headed to down town.
